Microneedling,
Platelet rich plasma and Mesotherapy explained
*numbing cream is always available
Microneedling
Microneedling is collagen induction therapy, it stimulates collagen and elastin production, creating a smoother, firmer, more even skin tone. It can also reduce pigmentation, rosacea, scarring and wrinkles.
How does it work?
A device called a 'Dermapen' is used to create thousands of tiny micro-injuries in the skin via a sterile, disposable needle head.
It is systematically worked over the skin and modified to suit specific skin conditions. The micro-injuries created, trigger the skin's own healing response to wound healing... which is the production of collagen and elastin.
Combining the physical action of microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) and/or bespoke sterile serums, will treat specific skin conditions and significantly increase desired results.
Platelet Rich Plasma
What does it do?
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is the hardest working factor in collagen production.
Platelet derived growth factors stimulate fibroblasts into making collagen and elastin fibres. These fibres are supporting structures that give skin its firmness and tightness, but they deplete as we age.
How is it obtained?
10mls is gently extracted from your arm and put in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and platelets from the red blood cells.
The PRP is then either microneedled directly into the skin or mixed with bespoke meso-serums.
PRP is also very effective at stimulating scalp hair follicle growth.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy feeds your skin from within.
A bespoke cocktail of sterile nutrients is delivered directly into the dermis, which enhances the health of growing skin cells.Â
This is done systematically with the finest of needles and of course numbing cream makes the process painless.
Mesotherapy instantly improves dull and dehydrated skin, it can also firm, improve circulation and aid in flushing out toxins.
Meso-serums contain combinations of vitamins, minerals and other components naturally found in the skin, such as Hyaluronic acid that diminishes with age. They can be specifically tailored to target hyperpigmentation, acne and even stimulate hair follicle growth.Â
Its a great skin detox treatment.
